Ho w to turn on SMTP authentication in Outlook
This page shows step by step how to turn on the SMPT authentication software in MS Outlook.  By using SMPT authentication our email server will see that you are a legitimate  user of our mail sending service and from the 15th August 2008 we are asking all our clients to turn this feature on.
Ho w to turn on SMTP authentication in Outlook

1.Select Tools -> Account Settings…

 

 

 

2.In the box that opens double-click on the name of your email account

 

 

 

3.In the Change Email Account window that opens click on the More Settings… button

 

4.In the Internet  E-mail Settings window select the click on the Outgoing Server tab
5.Click on the box to the left of the words “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” a tick should appear in the box.
6.Press OK,  where upon you’re be retunred to the Internet E-mail Settings window where you can click Next, and then Finish. 

7.Finally click Close to close the Account Settings window.
